Ein Hoch auf Jude / cheers to Jude
Die Basis für diesen Quilt habe ich schon vor über 20 Jahren zusammengestichelt , damals habe ich allein gelebt und habe mich mit abendlichem Radio-Hören vergnügt. Seit dem hat er in einer Plastiktüte in der Ecke gedümpelt und ist dem Weggeworfen-Werden wahrscheinlich nur deshalb entgangen, weil ich alles mit der Hand zusammengenäht hatte.Oh und nun haben mich Judes wunderbare Quilt-Geschichten so angesteckt, dass ich ihn hervorgeholt habe und mit Begeisterung weiterarbeite. Wahrscheinlich wird mein Elan nur für diesen einen Quilt reichen....aber immerhin!
It's more than 20 years, that I've stiched the basis for this quilt, a time, when I lived alone and my evening-joy was to listen to the radio. Since then, it languished in a plastic bag and the only reason why I didn't throw it away has probably been because I joined it manual.
Oh and now, Jude and her wonderful quilt-stories infected me, so that I took it out and am working on it with enthusiasm. My verve will probably be enough for just one quilt...but at least!

I'm still having much fun with it and will surely show you the progress, but there's no time this week.....
Marjojo, I can't "go on" with it, I really have to restart.I stopped working on it because:
-I started working for an environment-group
- met my husband
- got pregnant (twins)after 3 months and have been thrown into the flow of "events" I hadn't planned at all...
But it's the best basic, reminding me of a time of stillness and concentration, something that comes back to me more and more. That's the relation which- perhaps- brought it into focus again.
und entspannend ist es ausserdem!
