Meeresfarben/ coulours of the sea

A bit wordless at the time....because I'm reading so much;)
and am thinking about what I read while crocheting....
can you rememberthis beginning ?
It's a long time since my toe is well again!!
On the left side you see the first, already finished part, the second half on the right...
Paper is calling me again, but first I have to hunt mice, bake bread and do thousand different things...
But it's calling:)))

THe colours in your crocheted blanket are just beautiful! I love it - definitely inspiring thoughts of the sea, swimming through the blue.....

Your work is beautiful uschi, really love the blues & greens you chose. Wish I could crochet / knit. Hooray that you're reading and learning, congrats!

Oh they are sooo beautiful! Wow, they look so delicate and like a lot of work, I am in awe of your skills! It must be magic to snuggle up in a sea of turquoise blues to keep you warm.

Hey, this looks good, love the colours. And checked how you started - could completely understand how you started crocheting because you were stuck on your sofa.
I read CW's 'Ein Tag im Jahr' a couple of years ago and was in awe of her political astuteness on top of her literary skills. Her 'Kassandra' is one of my favourite books ever, I've read it several times and will do again. Let me know what you think.

I think it shows that what you are reading is good for you by looking at this beauty you are crocheting!

Hi friends,
thank you all so much, I'm still crocheting on..and reading;)
But these are two things, that absolutely do NOT go together.

Majojo I will tell you about Kassandra.
What I can say now is that Christa Wolf gives me back a lot of the faith into the beauty of my mother-language!!
An untended daily use of a language can make it so poor!!

For about 10 years all the variations of blue/green-turquoise-petrol have been the only colours I've worn ;)) what would the therapist say??
That's a while ago, but this are still the most calming colours I know!
