I think I know what that desire feels like to be nourised with beauty and wisdom. How wonderful to read that you now are "absorbed by beautiful language and vivid life".
i know so many people who say they need a job to keep busy and i do need a job (for money to pay the bills) but could easily fill my days with improving my skills in cooking, sewing, knitting, etc...and reading and reading and reading.
