rote Gummistiefel.../ red wellies...

Alles was man wirft landet unten.

I'm finding puddles very fascinating.
I tried to make up a little story and here is a small excerpt:

...it kept raining the whole night and inside, in the warmth, before drifting off into sleep the child could hear the sounds of the water..the rythmic drumming of the rain on the windows, a soft gurgling in the gutters and a drawing and bubbling in the gullies.
Gentle night, in which the water is travelling...within the dreams of the child and within our bodies.
We're so much water...
The next morning the child jumps out of bed refreshed. Sun enlightens the room.
During breakfast, the child looks into its cup: small circles appear, like yesterday in the puddle, when mother is crossing the room and the floor is vibrating a bit.
The puddle! Out, dressing and out...Wellies! Oh, well...
Yes! There are still some puddles after the long rain, but this morning they are not grey and crumpled and the picture they show is a bit blurred, but calm and clear, blue from the morning sky.
Like someone had layed down a mirror.
The child squats in front of the puddle and looks into it.
You can look very deep and also around edges, the house very very back there can be seen, too.
If I would throw a stone into the puddle would it fly to the clouds up there?
Or down there?
Everything you throw will go down.
But in a puddle you can throw it deep into the ground up to the sky...
