Gelassenheit / serenity

at a certain time I had decided to create paper-jewellery...
and I had lots of fun and ideas. So, after a while I went to artists-markets and got lots of praise... and started to put the bite on myself.
I had the feeling to have to produce something sellable, on and on, but something inside me didn't function the way I wanted and the many creative ideas came less and less often.
But wasn't I " the one with the paper-jewellery"??
This year...perhaps intentional...I missed every market-date and let the jewellery rest and told myself, that this is good...
...and now I feel really good, try lots of new things like book-binding and quilting...and and and...the ideas are back!
That's so great! Simply being there without a label and a stamp!
But I've still got so much jewellery....what will I do with it...

schade...verwackelt / a bit blurry...phew

also this: being outside and just being there, like children without aim but with open eyes...so beautiful!

Du bist also in guter Gesellschaft.

Verstehe ich gut, was du da schreibst. So what...

I just discovered your blog and I love the things you do. I love it all..the photographs, the drawing, your paper jewellery. My favourite are your paper cones. Lovely! And we share an appreciation of the art of those patient artists, Andy Goldsworthy and Tara Donovan. Would you grant me permission to put a link from my blog to your blog? Danke!

ahh Uschi, you sound like you have been reborn, refreshed, and renewed. i feel it with you too. and your painting is wonderfully reflective of that. the colors are bold and intense, and the strokes are free and strong. not unlike those wings of the dragonfly that you spotted. yay! :D.

Huhu Uschi,

Kate
you already know my answer: welcome here and thank you very very much for your appreciation!!
I currently wear the cones as brooches!

Stephanie

Mien

Jude
You're welcome!
It entirely IS refreshing to quit with old shit :)

Eulchen,
vielen Dank!

Victoria
thank you, too.
So often the recommendation you give to somebody is so much more easy than to see your own stuff clearly...

....das was Du schilderst, liebe Uschi, erleben viele Kreative in meinem Umfeld.

Magst Du?

Gruß an Dich
