Maßlosigkeit...und die anderen/Gluttony....and the others

the seven deadly sins/part 2
it's an attempt...on gluttony...which not only means gluttony, but also excess in any variation.
Nevertheless this piece is very devour-ish and I had to stop myself from using the weekend-ads from the butchery...
I think that's not yet all...the "theme" is still to much restrained by the outer shape, not excessive enough..it has to overflow and to disrupt its frame much more....let's see...

and here a "sketch" on Lust/Sloth/Wrath

...i still don't come on with pride and grees....I always stick to faces....

Wow, this work is so intense and deep.
I especially love the pieces at the bottom.

Babelfish, I agree with you in loving the "nature"-pieces more. Meanwhile I think I will, in this special case, leave the colour in the bottle.
Thanks so much for your comment!

Not an easy subject to approach i think but i like your attempt and thoughts. It is interesting when you put an idea into 3-d and feel your way along. This is going to be an intriquing project to watch evolve.

i also love the pieces at the bottom with the thread going through. looks like strong silver hair to me. i think the eye of envy goes so well with these. will be interesting to see all 7 themes of them lined up together...

I read your post on Sara's blog - your stuff is awesome, I love your fabric interpretation, it's a medium I have no real experience with and I am always quieted by it's delicacy, even when the subject is intense! Wow!
